Traditional Music Courses

An invaluable way to come in contact with this mysterious and fascinating world, to learn such an instrument is an amusing experience, since melodies, simple at the beginning, let the student start playing in a short period of time.  

Some beginners instruments are available for the first lessons.

Italian Piva and Zampogna

Are studied the Italian Bagpipes called Piva, as it was found in Bergamo's valleys (North Italy), and the famous Zampogna, One og the few European Bagpipes able to play also an accompaniment. Involving sound instruments, ideal for slow melodies of the Christmas period, but also good for faster dances. A basic course to get close to italian and european repertory.

Tin whistle

An easy to play and cheap instrument, used in celtic and traditional music, able to deep, with its sweet and penetrating sound, into the atmospheres of a far away time. 

Hurdy - Gurdy

From the Middle Ages a fascinating instrument that accompany since ever traditional music in all Europe, together with bagpipe, and, more recently, the accordion.  The study developes through traditional music and melodies from the medieval and reinassence period.

Diatonic Accordion

The Italian organetto, ancestor of modern chromatic accordion with piano keys, is the most important instrument in traditional music everywhere. More versatile, thanks to the possibility to play also an harmonic accompaniment, it is always in the centre of all fairs for its typical sound and gaiety.
