Traditional music  from Piedmont

(North west Italy)

It is the name of the traditional frame drum once played in Canavese zone. Are proposed a range of melodies that comes from the zones of Canavese, Alessandria and Occitania valleys. The musicians operate to research and revalue popular songs and traditional instruments such as diatonic accordion, hurdy-gurdy and  italian bagpipe. The group played in the principal musical events of the genre and the have been playing  this kind of music since 1985, through exibitions, stages and courses of dance and instruments.

The group, as duo or trio, is available also for concerts, lesson-exibitions in school contest, folk dances events, stands and fairs, for music in town streets and for all the occasions where is appreciated live music.
